Privacy
Alpha Yazan AI Labs is the public research surface of Yazan Alpha Technologies, Inc. This notice covers the update list (the signup form at /join) and this website. It describes what the system does today, not what it might do later.
What we collect when you join the list
Your email address; your first name if you choose to give one; which of the three update topics you ticked; the date and time you signed up; the page you signed up from; the campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content) and the domain that referred you; a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string, kept as evidence of consent and to stop automated abuse. We do not store your raw IP address. We ask for nothing else — no phone number, no company, no job title, no payment details.
Why, and on what basis
We use it for one purpose: to send you Alpha Yazan research, news, event and funding updates. The basis is your consent, given by ticking an unticked box on the signup form. We keep a record of the exact wording you agreed to, and when. We do not use it for advertising, we do not profile you, and there is no automated decision-making about you.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone. We never publish subscriber addresses, and no address is ever shown on this website or on any dashboard. Internal reporting receives counts only — how many people joined, from which platform — never a list, a sample or an address.
Where it is stored
In Google Cloud Firestore in the United States, in a private database owned by Yazan Alpha Technologies, Inc. Access is restricted to the signup service itself; the database is closed to public and browser access. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by the platform.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we keep a minimal record that the address opted out, so we do not email you again by accident. Ask us to erase that record and we will.
Your choices
Every email we send will carry a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click with no login. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@yazanalpha.com.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no third-party analytics, advertising or social tracking scripts. We count page visits to the signup page as a plain number, with no identifier attached to the visit, so we can tell how many people who saw the page chose to join. Our network provider, Cloudflare, processes requests to serve and protect the site.
Current state of email sending
No marketing email is being sent yet. The list is being collected first, and sending will not begin until consent records, a working unsubscribe, a verified sender identity and this notice are all in place.
